Allegations of Misconduct
DIMENSI: Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi is committed to maintaining academic integrity, ethical publication standards, and transparency throughout the editorial and publication process.
All forms of research misconduct, unethical publication behavior, and violations of academic integrity are taken seriously and will be addressed in accordance with publication ethics principles and editorial policies.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism in any form constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is not acceptable in DIMENSI: Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

Copying text, ideas, tables, figures, or data from other sources without proper citation and acknowledgment

Using another author’s concepts, arguments, or interpretations without attribution

Submitting work that substantially overlaps with previously published works without disclosure

Self-plagiarism or redundant publication without appropriate reference to previous publications

Paraphrasing another source with only minimal modification without proper citation
Manuscripts identified as containing plagiarism may be rejected during the editorial or peer-review process.
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to publish corrections, issue retractions, or take other appropriate editorial actions.
Data Fabrication
Data fabrication refers to the act of creating false, fictional, or non-existent research data or findings and presenting them as genuine research results.
The journal strictly prohibits fabricated data in submitted or published manuscripts.
Cases of suspected fabrication will be investigated thoroughly by the editorial board and may result in rejection or retraction.
Data Falsification
Data falsification involves manipulating research materials, procedures, images, analyses, or data in ways that misrepresent the actual findings of the study.
This includes:

Selective reporting of results

Manipulating statistical analysis

Modifying evidence to support misleading conclusions
Such practices are considered serious ethical violations.
Duplicate Submission and Redundant Publication
Duplicate submission occurs when an author submits the same or substantially similar manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
Redundant publication includes publishing substantially similar research findings in multiple journals without appropriate disclosure or academic justification.
DIMENSI: Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi does not permit duplicate submission or redundant publication practices.
Authors must disclose any related manuscripts or previous publications relevant to the submitted work.
Authorship Issues
All listed authors must have made substantial academic contributions to the research and manuscript preparation.
The following practices are considered unethical:

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors:

Citation Manipulation
Citation manipulation includes excessive, irrelevant, or inappropriate citations intended solely to increase citation counts of authors, journals, or specific publications without scholarly relevance.
Authors are expected to ensure that all citations:

Contribute meaningfully to scholarly discussion

Reflect genuine engagement with previous research
Manipulation of the Peer Review Process
The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity, independence, and fairness of the peer-review process.
Any attempt to manipulate the peer-review system constitutes serious misconduct, including:

Influencing reviewer decisions improperly
