Author Guidelines
Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript to the Jurnal Ekonomi Administrasi dan Sosial (JEAS).
A. General Requirements
The minimum standard requirements for manuscripts submitted to JEAS are as follows:
Manuscripts must be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia using clear academic language.
The manuscript must be an original work and has not been published or submitted simultaneously to another journal or publication.
The recommended length of the manuscript is 6–15 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or similar tools.
References and citations should follow the APA Style (7th Edition) consistently.
Manuscripts must be prepared using the official JEAS article template.
The similarity index should comply with academic ethics standards and must not contain plagiarism.
Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant scholarly references, especially articles published in reputable national and international journals.
B. Structure of the Manuscript
The manuscript should be organized in the following structure:
1. Title
The title should be concise, informative, and clearly reflect the focus of the study. Avoid abbreviations and overly general titles.
2. Author Information
Include the full name(s) of the author(s), institutional affiliation, email address, and ORCID ID (if available).
3. Abstract
The abstract should consist of 150–250 words and written in one paragraph.
The abstract should briefly contain:
Background or research problem
Research objectives
Methods or approach used
Main findings
Conclusions and implications
Keywords should consist of 3–5 relevant terms.
4. Introduction
The introduction should explain:
Research background
Research problems or gaps
Theoretical basis or literature review
Research objectives and significance
5. Research Method
This section explains:
Research approach/design
Population and sample/informants
Data collection techniques
Data analysis methods
6. Results and Discussion
This section should present:
Research findings clearly and systematically
Interpretation and analysis of findings
Discussion linked with relevant theories and previous studies
Tables and figures must be numbered and cited in the text.
7. Conclusion
The conclusion should summarize the main findings and provide implications, recommendations, or future research directions.
8. References
References should primarily come from scholarly journals, books, conference proceedings, and other academic sources relevant to the study.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use:
Recent references published within the last 5–10 years
References from reputable national and international journals
DOI links whenever available
C. Publication Ethics
JEAS upholds publication ethics standards including originality, transparency, proper citation practices, and avoidance of plagiarism, data fabrication, and unethical publication behavior.
D. Submission Information
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors should ensure that the manuscript follows the journal template and guidelines before submission.
