Withdrawal of Manuscript

Authors are strongly encouraged to ensure the originality, quality, and readiness of their manuscripts before submission to Social: Jurnal Manajemen dan Kewirausahaan.

Withdrawal of submitted manuscripts is generally discouraged because the editorial and peer-review processes require significant time, professional commitment, and academic contribution from editors and reviewers.

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

Authors who request manuscript withdrawal during the review process or after the manuscript has entered the editorial stage may be subject to an administrative withdrawal fee of IDR 1,500,000.

The withdrawal fee is intended to maintain publication ethics, editorial professionalism, and respect for the academic review process conducted by reviewers and editors.

The policy also aims to prevent unethical practices such as:

Multiple simultaneous submissions

Unjustified withdrawal after peer review

Redundant publication practices

Misuse of editorial and reviewer resources

Exceptions

Authors may request manuscript withdrawal without administrative penalty under certain conditions, including:

No significant update regarding the review process within a reasonable timeframe determined by the editorial board

Serious technical or ethical issues identified in the manuscript before publication

Other exceptional circumstances approved by the Editor-in-Chief

All withdrawal requests will be evaluated carefully by the editorial team.

Withdrawal Procedure

All requests for manuscript withdrawal must:

Be submitted formally by the corresponding author

Include a clear explanation for the withdrawal request

Be communicated through the journal’s official communication channels or submission system

The editorial board reserves the right to approve or reject withdrawal requests based on editorial considerations and publication ethics standards.
